Special Focus: Upcoming international activities of iMOVE

Apart from trade fair presentations and trade missions abroad, iMOVE provides many useful international networking opportunities and occasions in Germany, mostly dedicated to contact with partners from one specific country or region.

On March 24, the Consulate General of India will host an India-Germany Networking Seminar on VET and Skill Development in association with iMOVE, the Indian trade association FICCI and the Chamber of Commerce in Frankfurt. The seminar aims at informing German training providers about business opportunities in the Indian VET market and at providing information on German training provisions for potential co-operation partners.

An Omani-German Round Table on vocational education and training cooperation will take place on March 27 in the context of the trade fair didacta in Stuttgart. The event will be hosted by the embassy of the Oman, Ghorfa, didacta and iMOVE. One major topic will be the present status of politics and infrastructure regarding vocational education and training in the Oman.

From May 16-17, iMOVE will present its services at the European-Arab career and education fair KUBRI in Munich. KUBRI is a recruiting and contact fair for employees and students interested in career and academic opportunities in the MENA region.

2014 is also the German-Turkish Year of Research, Education and Innovation, a joint initiative of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey. Under the umbrella of this joint Year of Science, iMOVE will invite stakeholders to the seminar "Network Turkey" as a platform for joint discussion.
