GOVET, the German Office for International Cooperation in Vocational Education and Training, will be present at the re:publica in Berlin between 2 and 4 May to inform visitors about international cooperation in vocational education and training in the era of digitalisation.
GOVET will be one of the guests at the re:publica, Europe's major conference on topics relating to digitalisation and society. Our experts will be on hand to discuss the future of employment and to talk about what digitalisation and changing worlds of work will really mean for vocational education and training (VET).

Panel discussion: Crafting the Future – VOC force for tomorrow
Our panel discussion will entirely focus on vocational education in the future. Digitalisation will ultimately only work out if the right skilled workers are in place. What skills will we need, and how can we look to the future?
The panel discussion will feature contributions from:
- Karni Wolf, Representative of the world's leading Israeli start-up scene, Israel
- Pavel Bilenko, Director of the National Education Programme on Industry 4.0, Russia
- David Langdon, United States Department of Commerce, USA
The discussion will be chaired by Professor Hubert Ertl, Director of Research at the Federal Institute for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB), Germany.

Online Sessions with experts from Germany
We will put you in contact on the web and at our stand (a01) with the key interfaces in vocational education and training in Germany.
Engage in debate on the topic of Vocational Education and Training 4.0 with partners such as specialists from the BIBB and from training practice. These are the issues we want to find out about:

- What opportunities will innovations create, and what are the inherent risks?

International representatives
Vocational Education and Training 4.0 is a topic which will bring changes in its wake at a global level. For this reason, we will be inviting VET representatives from other countries to our stand. They will be able to tell you how they are bringing their skilled workers up to speed for the world of work of the future. This is a topic which is particularly crucial to companies with global networks or international locations.
