German companies observe that training offers in combination with additional qualifications as well as dual study programmes will remain very attractive for trainees in the future.
According to a recent survey by the Federal Institut for Vocational Education and Training (BIBB) of more than 400 companies, 63 per cent expect a growing demand for training offers in combination with additional qualifications.
The vast majority of the survey participants agree that the quality of dual study programmes depends on the successful matching of training and study contents, the cooperation of universities and companies and the adequate qualification of company trainers. More than half of the participants appreciate the high impact of practice-oriented training on the study design.
