More trainees from Eastern Europe in Germany

Employers expect an increase of trainees from Eastern Europe in Germany next year.

According to Otto Kentzler, president of the German Confederation of Skilled Crafts (ZDH), a growing number of youths from Germany's eastern neighbour countries is interested in receiving vocational training in Germany. As many German companies will offer their training positions Europe-wide, the ZDH expects that the number of trainees from other EU countries will increase in Germany.
