Scholarships for vocational education

In the district of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) of Magdeburg, 40 young vocational training graduates from the commerce, service or industry sector, were accepted for "scholarships for vocational education".

In the IHK district of Gießen-Friedberg, another 20 trainees were happy to receive the scholarship financed by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). All scholars can make use of up to 5,100 euros for further training until 2013.

Lifelong learning is a building block for a successful career. The programme specifically supports young talented graduates of the dual system. They receive funding for advanced vocational training such as business administrator or technician, and for seminars to acquire interdisciplinary and social competences such as foreign languages, IT or human resources management skills.
