The goal of iMOVE networking events is to create a network of training providers, industrial companies and further service providers with business interests in specific countries. In 2009, iMOVE initiated this kind of network for China. In April 2013, the 4th "Network China" has been organised by iMOVE.
Approximately 40 participants attended this iMOVE seminar in order to gather information on current developments in the vocational education and training sector in the People's Republic of China. Small and large companies, companies with new or long-standing interests in China were represented equally. It was precisely this combination that led to intensive discussions and a very lively and open sharing of experiences. Topics discussed ranged from approval processes and visa issues to implementing offers of education and intercultural differences.
Many German training providers are already successfully doing business in China. But they are often not well informed about the activities of other German institutions and many projects could benefit from experiences which have already been made with earlier projects. With the help of events like the "iMOVE Network China" interested parties can find new cooperation partners and new approaches to jumpstart their business in China.
