New bulletin of promoting international training cooperation

The German Federal Ministry of Education and Research has published a new bulletin of promoting international vocational education and training cooperation.

Sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), German training providers can develop financially sound business models with local partners abroad. The German training organizations are entitled to file an application. The transfer of know-how and dual training elements enhances the qualiy of vocational education and training in the partner countries and contributes to the long-term provision of skilled staff.

In 2017, more than 20 projects have been granted financial support. Further applications can be submitted until May 2018.

Among the international cooperation partners are organizations from Iran, Kenia, Nigeria, South Africa, Italy, Russia and the Philippines. The projects range from establishing an agricultural training center and creating a training measure for experts on port logistics to exporting blended vocational education and training for industrial process design and optimization into the automotive sector.
