Corporate Profile

During my 23 years in senior positions at the international cosmetics group Beiersdorf, I was responsible for the product development of various global NIVEA sub-brands. As R&D Director Asia-Pacific, I established a regional R&D center in Wuhan, China, for Beiersdorf AG from 2012 to 2015, leading a team of 30 employees and building a supplier network in Asia.

Since 2022, I consult the asean cosmetic brand MISTINE as a Chief Scientist.

Since 2018, I am offering Intercultural Communication- & Leadership Trainings and give lectures at different Chinese universities.

In my work as a manager in China I have experienced how enriching working with people from other cultures can be, but I have also learned about the special challenges of working in a foreign culture and leading employees there.

Through my trainings I want to sharpen the participants' awareness of cultural differences, help them to anticipate and avoid  misunderstandings and potential areas of conflict and enable them to cooperate more effectively with other cultures.

This includes getting to know the peculiarities of one's own culture as well as understanding foreign cultures.
