The "Bildungszentrum" (Training centre) in Biberach/ Riß, Germany, offers a comprehensive scope of education, further education and training courses for the carpentry trade and the field of timber construction.

The centre makes innovative contributions to the development of vocational further and advanced training, both in theory and practice in Germany and in the European Union and has become a centre of vocational excellence Germany wide in the field of "energy-saving in timber construction".

In addition we are able to extend our range of services with our seminar hotel, which can also be booked for any non-carpentry related event.

Carpentry Apprenticeship

In Germany the vocational training of skilled trades is often done within the so called "dual system" with one part of the education takes place at a company and another part at a vocational school.

At the "Zimmerer Ausbildungszentrum" (Carpentry Training centre) we conduct part of the occupational education of carpentry apprentices from nearly all over the federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg. Apprentices will be at Biberach from one to three weeks during their second and third year of apprenticeship. Here they receive specialised training in addition to the vocational school.

Further education

We are specialists in further education and advanced training in the carpentry trade. We offer a wide variety of courses for skilled laborers, instructors and lecturers as well as participants of occupational re-training.

Our training courses include all areas of modern timber building. We offer well equipped seminar rooms as well as multifunctional workshops.

Please note that all our seminars and workshops will be held in German unless stated differently.

Projects

Being able to work future-orientated requires specialised knowledge. Our projects involve for example didactical concepts on energy-saving timber construction.
