Indien: Aufbau von 1.500 ITIs in den nächsten 5 Jahren

Die indische Regierung will in den nächsten fünf Jahren 1.500 Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs) und 5.000 Skill Development Zentren aufbauen, verkündete der indische Arbeitsminister Mallikarjun Kharge bei der Eröffnung der India International Trade Fair.

 

Government to set up 1,500 new ITIs in next 5 years

 

Government will set up 1,500 new industrial training institutes and 5,000 skill development centres in the next five years, Labour Minister Mallikarjun Kharge said today.

 

During XII five year plan, the ministry has a very ambitious scheme of setting up of 1500 new ITIs and 5000 Skill Development Centres in unserviced blocks of the country in PPP mode, Kharge said after inaugurating the 'Skilling India' theme pavilion at the India International Trade Fair here.

 

He said with the setting up of the new centres the government hoped to achieve our target of skilling 100 million persons by 2022.

 

He said skill development is one of the most important tool for empowering the persons, increasing productivity of the enterprise and competitiveness of the country.
